On Friday, October 10, Landmark celebrated the official topping out of the Hilton Grand Vacations Club in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The 24-story resort is the tallest high-rise currently under construction along the Mid-Atlantic Coastline.
Landmark Builders began construction on the 308,000-square-foot oceanfront resort in October 2013. Upon completion, the Hilton Grand Vacations Club will feature 220 luxury residential units, a dramatic 200-foot, sky-lit atrium, a fitness center, two full-service bars and multiple pools with direct access to the Myrtle Beach coastline. The Hilton Grand Vacations Club was designed by Columbia-based architecture firm Garvin Design Group in association with tag architecture, LLC.
With over 80% of Landmark Builders’ projects coming from repeat customers, the Hilton Grand Vacations Club will be the ninth project that Landmark has completed for developer Strand Capital Group. “Landmark has successfully completed over $225 million in construction for Strand Capital in the Myrtle Beach area. This is a testament to the fact that their professionalism, integrity and quality of work far exceed the competition,” said Loyd Daniel of Strand Capital Group. The Hilton Grand Vacations Club is the fourteenth large-scale resort that Landmark Builders has completed in South Carolina, totaling more than 2.3 million square feet of hotel, timeshare and luxury condominium space.
